Mr. Mark Donnelly
2019-20 is my eleventh year teaching at Clague. Previous to teaching at Clague, I taught in the Howell school district for five years. Before I became a teacher, I was a human resources manager. I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. I have taught Language Arts and Social Studies to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
My son Conor is a senior at the University of Michigan, a former Clague Cougar and the Clague girls track coach. My daughter Caitlyn is a Sophomore at Skyline high school. She also attended Clague. My wife, Julie Donnelly, also teaches at Clague. Our dog Mango has neither attended, coached nor taught at Clague.
In my free time I enjoy running, mountain biking, cycling, and cross country skiing (when we get enough snow). I have been known to get excited about Michigan Wolverine football and basketball as well as the Liverpool "football" Club. I always cheer for the Detroit Lions, no matter how frustrated they make me.
Feel free to contact me anytime at:
